My daughter, who lives locally, suggested we joined her & her husband for Sunday lunch. at a little restaurant, Riccardo's, she had seen and wanted to try. We arrived and were warmly welcomed and seated in the covered area, which was cosy despite it being a very bitter day. There was a lovely buzz as it was full of families and groups of friends all looking as though they were having a great time.
The menu had lots of variety and my husband loved his calves liver, as did my son in law his venison and I loved my aubergine ravioli with a delicious buttery sauce. The wine was good and we definitely had a lovely time.
The prices were very reasonable for such good quality and I just wish we lived a lot closer as it's a restaurant we would love to visit again.
