Best Restaurants near the Chelsea Flower Show 2026

April 29, 2026 by Haleta Mehari

Visiting the Chelsea Flower Show 2026? Here are some of the best places to eat nearby after a day exploring the gardens.

Every year, Chelsea changes a little during Flower Show week.

The streets feel brighter, there’s more going on, and you start to notice details you’d usually walk past. People come from all over, and for a few days, everything slows down just enough for you to actually enjoy it.

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show returns from 19th to 23rd May 2026 to the grounds of Royal Hospital Chelsea, bringing together some of the most beautiful gardens, ideas, and designs you’ll see all year.

If you’re planning to visit, it’s worth thinking ahead about where you’ll eat, especially later in the day.

After a few hours walking around, taking it all in, you’ll probably be ready for a proper sit down. Somewhere you can relax, eat well, and let the day settle a bit.

Where to eat after the Chelsea Flower Show

During the week, the whole area comes alive.

King’s Road fills with flowers as part of Chelsea in Bloom, and there’s a real energy around Chelsea that you don’t get at any other time of year.

It also means things get busy. By early evening, most places are already full, and the ones that aren’t can feel a bit rushed.

So it helps to know where you’re heading before the day gets away from you.

Whether you want something relaxed, something a little smarter, or somewhere that keeps you close to the Chelsea atmosphere, it helps to have a few options in mind before the day gets busy.

Riccardo’s Italian Restaurant

After a full day at the show, you’ll probably want something simple.

Somewhere you can sit down properly, not feel rushed, and just enjoy your food at your own pace.

You can look through the menu, order a few plates, try a bit of everything, and keep it easy. It works well when you don’t feel like committing to one big dish, especially after walking around all day.

If the weather holds up, sitting outside on Fulham Road is one of those small things that makes the whole day feel complete. A glass of wine, something good on the table, and a bit of space to slow down.

Manicomio

If you’re in the mood for something a little more polished, this is a good option.

You’ll find a more formal setting here, with a simple, well-executed Italian menu. It works well if you’re planning a quieter dinner or marking the occasion with something a bit more structured.

The Ivy Chelsea Garden

If you want to stay in the middle of the atmosphere, this is probably the place.

It’s known for its floral displays, and during Flower Show week it really leans into it. It’s lively, colourful, and a good choice if you’re not quite ready for the day to wind down yet.

Planning your Chelsea Flower Show visit

The show itself is only part of it.

You’ll probably end up walking more than you expected, stopping here and there, taking photos, maybe getting a drink along the way. By the time you’re done, what you’ll want most is somewhere you can just sit and enjoy a proper meal.

If you’re planning to eat nearby, it’s worth booking earlier in the day. Evenings fill up quickly, and having somewhere lined up makes the whole experience feel a lot more relaxed.

A small extra for your visit

If it’s your first time visiting, you can take £10 off your bill.

You’ll see the form on this page, just enter your details and it’ll be sent straight over for you to use when you come in.

Just a small extra to make the day feel a little better.
